1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When a man consecrates a person to Yahweh in a vow, according to your valuation, 3your valuation of a male from twenty years old to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 4If she is a female, then your valuation shall be thirty shekels. 5If the person is from five years old to twenty years old, then your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 6If the person is from a month old to five years old, then your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver. 7If the person is from sixty years old and older; if he is a male, then your valuation shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 8But if he is poorer than your valuation, then he shall be set before the priest, and the priest is to assign a value to him. The priest is to assign a value according to his ability to pay.
9"'If it is an animal of which men offer an offering to Yahweh, all that any man gives of such to Yahweh becomes holy. 10He shall not alter it, nor exchange it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good. If he shall at all exchange animal for animal, then both it and that for which it is exchanged shall be holy. 11If it is any unclean animal, of which they do not offer as an offering to Yahweh, then he shall set the animal before the priest; 12and the priest is to evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall be. 13But if he will indeed redeem it, then he shall add a fifth of it to its valuation.
14"'When a man dedicates his house to be holy to Yahweh, then the priest is to evaluate it, whether it is good or bad. As the priest evaluates it, so it shall stand. 15If he who dedicates it will redeem his house, then he shall add a fifth of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall be his.
16"'If a man dedicates to Yahweh part of the field of his possession, then your valuation shall be according to the seed for it. The sowing of a homer of barley shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver. 17If he dedicates his field from the Year of Jubilee, according to your valuation it shall stand. 18But if he dedicates his field after the Jubilee, then the priest is to reckon to him the money according to the years that remain to the Year of Jubilee; and an abatement shall be made from your valuation. 19If he who dedicated the field will indeed redeem it, then he shall add a fifth of the money of your valuation to it, and it shall remain his. 20If he will not redeem the field, or if he has sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more; 21but the field, when it goes out in the Jubilee, shall be holy to Yahweh, as a devoted field. It shall be owned by the priests.

1The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin: 2to whom the word of Yahweh came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. 3It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah, the son of Josiah, king of Judah, to the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. 4Now the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 5"Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations."
6Then I said, "Ah, LordOfMine Yahweh! Behold, I don't know how to speak; for I am a child."
7But Yahweh said to me, "Don't say, 'I am a child;' for to whoever I shall send you, you shall go, and whatever I shall command you, you shall speak. 8Don't be afraid because of them; for I am with you to deliver you," says Yahweh.
9Then Yahweh reached out his hand, and touched my mouth; and Yahweh said to me, "Behold, I have put my words in your mouth. 10Behold, I have today set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant."
11Moreover the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, "Jeremiah, what do you see?" I said, "I see a branch of an almond tree."
12Then Yahweh said to me, "You have seen well; for I watch over my word to perform it."
13The word of Yahweh came to me the second time, saying, "What do you see?" I said, "I see a boiling cauldron; and it is tipping away from the north."
14Then Yahweh said to me, "Out of the north evil will break out on all the inhabitants of the land. 15For, behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north," says Yahweh; "and they shall come, and they shall each set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah. 16I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, in that they have forsaken me, and have burned incense to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.
17"You therefore put your belt on your waist, arise, and speak to them all that I command you. Don't be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them. 18For, behold, I have made you today a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls, against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land. 19They will fight against you; but they will not prevail against you; for I am with you," says Yahweh, "to deliver you."
1The word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2"Go, and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, 'Yahweh says, "I remember for you the kindness of your youth, the love of your weddings; how you went after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3Israel [was] holiness to Yahweh, the first fruits of his increase. All who devour him shall be held guilty. Evil shall come on them,"' says Yahweh."
4Hear the word of Yahweh, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel! 5Yahweh says, "What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and have become vain? 6They didn't say, 'Where is Yahweh who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought and of the death-shadow, through a land that none passed through, and where no man lived?' 7I brought you into a plentiful land, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled my land, and made my heritage an abomination. 8The priests didn't say, 'Where is Yahweh?' and those who handle the law didn't know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.

1God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; 3though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling.

4There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High. 5God is in her midst. She shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. 6The nations raged. The kingdoms were moved. He lifted his voice, and the earth melted. 7Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.

8Come, see Yahweh's works, what desolations he has made in the earth. 9He makes wars cease to the end of the earth. He breaks the bow, and shatters the spear. He burns the chariots in the fire. 10"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." 11Yahweh of Armies is with us. The God of Jacob is our refuge.

1Oh clap your hands, all you nations. Shout to God with the voice of triumph! 2For Yahweh Most High is awesome. He is a great King over all the earth. 3He subdues nations under us, and peoples under our feet. 4He chooses our inheritance for us, the glory of Jacob whom he loved.

5God has gone up with a shout, Yahweh with the sound of a trumpet. 6Sing praise to God, sing praises. Sing praises to our King, sing praises. 7For God is the King of all the earth. Sing praises with understanding. 8God reigns over the nations. God sits on his holy throne. 9The princes of the peoples are gathered together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God. He is greatly exalted!

1Paul, a servant of Jesus AnointedOne, called to be an ambassador, set apart for the Good News of God, 2which he promised before through his prophets in the holy Scriptures, 3concerning his Son, who was born of the offspring of David according to the flesh, 4who was declared to be the Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, Jesus AnointedOne our Lord, 5through whom we received grace and ambassadorship for obedience of faith among all the nations for his name's sake; 6among whom you are also called to belong to Jesus AnointedOne; 7to all who are in Rome, dear-ones of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus AnointedOne.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus AnointedOne for all of you, that your faith is proclaimed throughout the whole world. 9For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the Good News of his Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you always in my prayers, 10requesting, if by any means now at last I may be prospered by the will of God to come to you. 11For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, to the end that you may be established; 12that is, that I with you may be encouraged in you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.
13Now I don't desire to have you unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you (and was hindered so far), that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles. 14I am debtor both to Greeks and to [other] foreigners, both to the wise and to the foolish. 15So as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the Good News to you also who are in Rome.
16For I am not ashamed of the Good News [*of AnointedOne], because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew [*first], and also for the Gentile. 17For in it is revealed God's righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, "But the righteous shall live by faith."
18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19because what is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. 20For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. 21Because knowing God, they didn't glorify him as God, and didn't give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.
22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23and traded the glory of the permanent God for the likeness of an image of temporary human, and of birds, four-footed animals, and creeping things. 24Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonored among themselves; 25who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is forever praiseworthy. Absolutely.
