1Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan. Og king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 2Yahweh said to me, "Don't fear him; for I have delivered him, with all his people and his land, into your hand. Do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon."
3So Yahweh our God also delivered into our hand Og king of Bashan, and all his people. We struck him until no one was left to him remaining. 4We took all his cities at that time. There was not a city which we didn't take from them: sixty cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 5All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, in addition to a great many villages without walls. 6We utterly destroyed them, as we did to Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones. 7But all the livestock, and the plunder of the cities, we took as plunder for ourselves. 8We took the land at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon. 9(The Sidonians call Hermon Sirion, and the Amorites call it Senir.) 10[We took] all the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, to Salecah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan. 11(For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of the Rephaim. Look, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron. Isn't it in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? It was nine cubit long, and four cubits wide, according to the cubit of a man.) 12We took possession of this land at that time: from Aroer, which is by the valley of the Arnon, and half the hill country of Gilead with its cities. I gave [it] to the Reubenites and to the Gadites; 13and the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half-tribe of Manasseh- all the region of Argob, even all Bashan (which is called the land of Rephaim. 14Jair the son of Manasseh took all the region of Argob, to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called them, even Bashan, after his own name, Havvoth Jair, to this day.)

10You, son of man, tell the house of Israel: Thus you speak, saying, Our transgressions and our sins are on us, and we pine away in them; then how can we live? 11Tell them, As I live, says LordOfMine Yahweh, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn, turn from your evil ways; for why will you die, house of Israel?
12You, son of man, tell the children of your people, 'The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him in the day of his disobedience. And as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not fall by it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; nor will he who is righteous be able to live by it in the day that he sins. 13When I tell the righteous that he shall surely live; [but] if he trust to his righteousness, and commit iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered. He shall die in the iniquity that he has committed. 14Again, when I say to the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do what is lawful and right; 15if the wicked restore the pledge, give again what he had taken by robbery, walk in the statutes of life, committing no iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 16None of his sins that he has committed shall be remembered against him: he has done what is lawful and right; he shall surely live.
17Yet the children of your people say, The way of LordOfMine is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal. 18When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall die in it. 19When the wicked turns from his wickedness, and does what is lawful and right, he shall live in it. 20Yet you say, The way of LordOfMine is not equal. House of Israel, I will judge every one of you after his ways.'
21In the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, one who had escaped out of Jerusalem came to me, saying, The city has been struck. 22Now the hand of Yahweh had been on me in the evening, before he who was escaped came; and he had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more mute.
23The word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 24Son of man, they who inhabit those waste places in the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance. 25Therefore tell them, Thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes to your idols, and shed blood: and shall you possess the land? 26You stand on your sword, you work abomination, and every one of you defiles his neighbor's wife: and shall you possess the land?
27You shall tell them, Thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: As I live, surely those who are in the waste places shall fall by the sword; and him who is in the open field I will give to the animals to be devoured; and those who are in the strongholds and in the caves shall die of the pestilence. 28I will make the land a desolation and an astonishment; and the pride of her power shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, so that none shall pass through. 29Then shall they know that I am Yahweh, when I have made the land a desolation and an astonishment, because of all their abominations which they have committed.
30As for you, son of man, the children of your people talk of you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak to one another, everyone to his brother, saying, Please come and hear what is the word that comes forth from Yahweh. 31They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don't do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain. 32Behold, you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they don't do them.
33When this comes to pass, (behold, it comes), then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.

1Paul, a prisoner of AnointedOne Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our dear fellow worker, 2and our sister Apphia, and Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the assembly in your house: 3Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus AnointedOne.
4I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers, 5hearing of your selfless-love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints; 6that the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in AnointedOne Jesus. 7For we have much joy and comfort in your selfless-love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.
8So, though I have all boldness in AnointedOne to command you what is appropriate, 9yet for selfless-love's sake I rather beg, being such a one as Paul the old man and a prisoner for Jesus AnointedOne. 10I beg you for my child, Onesimus, whom I have become the father of in my chains, 11who once was useless to you, but now is useful to you and to me. 12I am sending him back. Therefore receive him who is my very heart, 13whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News. 14But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will. 15So perhaps he was separated from you for a while, that you would have him forever, 16no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a dear brother, especially to me, but how much rather to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
17If you count me a partner, receive him as you would receive me; 18and if he wrongs you at all or owes you anything, put that on my account. 19I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self besides). 20Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.
21Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.
22Also, prepare a guest room for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
23Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in AnointedOne Jesus, greets you, 24as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
25The grace of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne be with your spirit. [*Absolutely].
