Numbers Chapter 24

⁷Water shall flow from his buckets.
His offspring shall be in many waters.
His king shall be higher than Agag.
His kingdom shall be exalted.

⁸God brings him out of Egypt.
He has as it were the strength of the wild ox.
He shall consume the nations his adversaries,
shall break their bones in pieces, and pierce them with his arrows.
⁹He couched, he lay down as a lion,
as a lioness; who shall rouse him up?
Everyone who blesses you is blessed!
Everyone who curses you is cursed!"

¹⁰Balak's anger burned against Balaam, and he struck his hands together. Balak said to Balaam, "I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times. ¹¹Therefore, flee to your place, now! I thought to promote you to great honor; but, behold, Yahweh has kept you back from honor."

¹²Balaam said to Balak, "Didn't I also tell your messengers whom you sent to me, saying, ¹³'If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond Yahweh's word, to do either good or bad from my own mind. I will say what Yahweh says'? ¹⁴Now, behold, I go to my people. Come, I will inform you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days."

¹⁵He took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eyes have been opened says; ¹⁶he says, who hears the words of God, knows the knowledge of the Most High, and who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open: ¹⁷I see him, but not now.
I see him, but not near.
A star will come out of Jacob.
A scepter will rise out of Israel,
and shall strike through the corners of Moab,
and crush all the sons of Sheth.
¹⁸Edom shall be a possession. Seir, his enemy, also shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly. ¹⁹Out of Jacob shall one have dominion, and shall destroy the remnant from the city."

²⁰He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, But his latter end shall come to destruction."

²¹He looked at the Kenite, and took up his parable, and said, "Your dwelling place is strong. Your nest is set in the rock. ²²Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, until Asshur carries you away captive."

²³He took up his parable, and said, "Alas, who shall live when God does this? ²⁴But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber. He also shall come to destruction."

²⁵Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.

Ezekiel Chapter 2

¹He said to me, "Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you!" ²The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.

³He said to me, "Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day. ⁴The children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall tell them, '[So] says LordOfMine Yahweh'. ⁵They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

⁶"You, son of man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house. ⁷You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious. ⁸But you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don't be rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat what I give you."

⁹When I looked, behold, a hand was extended to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was in it; ¹⁰He spread it before me, and it was written on - inside and out; lamentations, mourning and woe were written on it.

Ezekiel Chapter 3

¹He said to me, "Son of man, eat what you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel."

²So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll.

³He said to me, "Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll that I give you." Then I ate it; and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.

⁴He said to me, "Son of man, go to the house of Israel, and speak my words to them. ⁵For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel; ⁶not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you. ⁷But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Israel are obstinate and hard-hearted. ⁸Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads. ⁹As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: don't be afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house."

¹⁰Moreover he said to me, "Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears. ¹¹Go to them of the captivity, to the children of your people, and speak to them, and tell them, '[So] says LordOfMine Yahweh'; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

¹²Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed be Yahweh's glory from his place. ¹³[I heard] the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing. ¹⁴So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of Yahweh was strong on me. ¹⁵Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel Aviv, that lived by the river Chebar, and to where they lived; and I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

¹⁶At the end of seven days the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, ¹⁷Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore hear the word from my mouth, and give them warning from me. ¹⁸When I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. ¹⁹Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn't turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Psalm 124

A Song of Ascents. By David.

¹If it had not been Yahweh who was on our side, let Israel now say, ²if it had not been Yahweh who was on our side, when men rose up against us; ³then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath burned against us; ⁴then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; ⁵then the proud waters would have gone over our soul. ⁶Blessed be Yahweh, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. ⁷Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped. ⁸Our help is in the name of Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 125

A Song of Ascents.

¹Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever. ²As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore. ³For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil. ⁴Do good, Yahweh, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts. ⁵But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.

Psalm 126

A Song of Ascents.

¹When Yahweh brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream. ²Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "Yahweh has done great things for them." ³Yahweh has done great things for us, and we are glad. ⁴Restore our fortunes again, Yahweh, like the streams in the Negev. ⁵Those who sow in tears will reap in joy. ⁶He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly return with joy, carrying his sheaves.

Psalm 127

A Song of Ascents. By Solomon.

¹Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor emptily who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it emptily. ²It is empty for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives to his loved ones [even while they] sleep. ³Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. ⁴As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. ⁵Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

Ephesians Chapter 1

¹Paul, an ambassador of AnointedOne Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in AnointedOne Jesus: ²Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus AnointedOne.

³Praiseworthy is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, who has praised us with every spiritual praise in AnointedOne in the heavenly places, ⁴even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in selfless-love, ⁵having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus AnointedOne to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, ⁶to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the dear-ones, ⁷in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, ⁸which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, ⁹making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him ¹⁰to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in AnointedOne, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him. ¹¹We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will, ¹²to the end that we would be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in AnointedOne: ¹³in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the good-news of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, ¹⁴who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.

¹⁵For this reason I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the selfless-love which you have toward all the saints, ¹⁶don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, ¹⁷that the God of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, ¹⁸having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might ²⁰which he worked in AnointedOne, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in what is to come. ²²He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, ²³which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
