29"'If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it has been sold. For a full year he shall have the right of redemption. 30If it isn't redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be made sure in perpetuity to him who bought it, throughout his generations. It shall not be released in the Jubilee. 31But the houses of the villages which have no wall around them shall be included with the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the Jubilee.
32"'Nevertheless, in the cities of the Levites, the Levites may redeem the houses in the cities of their possession at any time. 33The Levites may redeem the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, and it shall be released in the Jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel. 34But the field of the pasture lands of their cities may not be sold, for it is their perpetual possession.
35"'If your brother has become poor, and his hand can't support himself among you, then you will uphold him. He'll live with you like a foreigner and a temporary resident. 36Take no interest from him or profit; but fear your God, that your brother may live among you. 37Don't lend him your money at interest, nor give him your food for profit. 38I am Yahweh your God, who brought you here from the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.
39"'If your brother has grown poor among you, and sells himself to you, you mustn't make him serve as a slave. 40He shall be with you as a hired servant, and as a temporary resident; he shall serve with you until the Year of Jubilee. 41then he shall go out from you, he and his children with him, and shall return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers. 42For they are my servants, whom I brought here from the land of Egypt. They shall not be sold as slaves. 43Don't rule over him with harshness, but shall fear your God.

For the Chief Musician. For Jeduthun. A Psalm by David.
1I said, "I will watch my ways, so that I don't sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me." 2I was mute with silence. I held my peace, even from good. My sorrow was stirred. 3My heart was hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned: I spoke with my tongue: 4"Yahweh, show me my end, what is the measure of my days. Let me know how frail I am. 5Behold, you have made my days like hand widths. My lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely every man stands as a breath."
selah.
6"Surely every man walks like a shadow. Surely they busy themselves in vain. He heaps up, and doesn't know who shall gather. 7Now, LordOfMine, what do I wait for? My hope is in you. 8Deliver me from all my transgressions. Don't make me the reproach of the foolish. 9I was mute. I didn't open my mouth, because you did it. 10Remove your scourge from me. I am overcome by the blow of your hand. 11When you rebuke and correct man for iniquity, You consume his wealth like a moth. Surely every man is but a breath."
selah.
12"Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don't be silent at my tears. For I am a stranger with you, a foreigner, as all my fathers were. 13Oh spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go away, and exist no more."

9"I myself thought that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. 10I also did this in Jerusalem. I both shut up many of the saints in prisons, having received authority from the chief priests, and when they were put to death I gave my vote against them. 11Punishing them often in all the synagogues, I tried to make them blaspheme. Being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.
12"Whereupon as I traveled to Damascus with the authority and commission from the chief priests, 13at noon, O king, I saw on the way a light from the sky, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who traveled with me. 14When we had all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language, 'Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.'
15"I said, 'Who are you, Lord?' "He said, 'I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. 16But arise, and stand on your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose: to appoint you a servant and a witness both of the things which you have seen, and of the things which I will reveal to you; 17delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you, 18to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.'
19"So, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 20but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing actions worthy of repentance. 21For this reason the Jews seized me in the temple and tried to kill me. 22So, having obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, 23how AnointedOne must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles."
24As he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, "Paul, you are crazy! Your great learning is driving you insane!"
25But he said, "I am not crazy, most excellent Festus, but boldly declare words of truth and reasonableness. 26For the king knows of these things, to whom also I speak freely. For I am persuaded that none of these things is hidden from him, for this has not been done in a corner. 27King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you believe."
28Agrippa said to Paul, "With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?"
29Paul said, "I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become just like me, except for these bonds."
30The king rose up with the governor, and Bernice, and those who sat with them. 31When they had withdrawn, they spoke to one another, saying, "This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds." 32Agrippa said to Festus, "This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar."
