1Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying, 2"Command the children of Israel to give to the Levites cities to live in from their inheritance. Give pasture lands for the cities around them to the Levites. 3They shall have the cities to live in. Their pasture lands shall be for their livestock, and for their possessions, and for all their animals.
4"The pasture lands of the cities, which you'll give to the Levites, will be from the wall of the city and outward one thousand cubits around it. 5Measure outside of the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall be the pasture lands of their cities.
6"The cities which you'll give to the Levites, will be the six cities of refuge, which you'll give for the man-slayer to flee to. Besides them you'll give forty-two cities. 7All the cities which you'll give to the Levites will be forty-eight cities together with their pasture lands. 8Concerning the cities which you'll give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many you'll take many, and from the few you'll take few. Everyone according to his inheritance which he inherits shall give some of his cities to the Levites. 9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 10"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 11then you are to appoint for yourselves cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the man-slayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there. 12The cities will be for your refuge from the avenger, that the man-slayer not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment. 13The cities which you are to give will be for you six cities of refuge. 14You are to give three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities in the land of Canaan. They'll be cities of refuge. 15These six cities shall be refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the foreigner living among them, that everyone who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.
16"'But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death. 17If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death. 18Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death. 19The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

8Thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: Because Moab and Seir say, Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations; 9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim, 10to the children of the east, [to go] against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations. 11and I will execute judgments on Moab; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
12Thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself on them; 13therefore thus says LordOfMine Yahweh, I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; even to Dedan shall they fall by the sword. 14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel; and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath; and they shall know my vengeance, says LordOfMine Yahweh.
15Thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with despite of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility; 16therefore thus says LordOfMine Yahweh, Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. 17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they shall know that I am Yahweh, when I shall lay my vengeance on them.
1In the eleventh year, in the first [day] of the month, the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2Son of man, because Tyre has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken: the gate of the peoples; she is turned to me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste: 3therefore thus says LordOfMine Yahweh, Behold, I am against you, Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up. 4They shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her a bare rock. 5She shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, says LordOfMine Yahweh; and she shall become a plunder to the nations. 6Her daughters who are in the field shall be slaughtered with the sword: and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
7For thus says LordOfMine Yahweh: Behold, I will bring on Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a company, and many people. 8He shall kill your daughters in the field with the sword; and he shall make forts against you, and build a siege ramp against you, and raise up the buckler against you. 9He shall set his battering engines against your walls, and with his axes he shall break down your towers. 10By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover you: your walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wagons, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into your gates, as men enter into a city in which is made a breach. 11He shall tread down all your streets with the hoofs of his horses; he shall kill your people with the sword; and the pillars of your strength shall go down to the ground. 12They shall make a plunder of your riches, and make a prey of your merchandise; and they shall break down your walls, and destroy your pleasant houses; and they shall lay your stones and your timber and your dust in the midst of the waters. 13I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard. 14I will make you a bare rock; you shall be a place for the spreading of nets; you shall be built no more: for I Yahweh have spoken it, says LordOfMine Yahweh.

1Don't rebuke an older man, but exhort him as a father; the younger men as brothers; 2the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, in all purity.
3Honor widows who are widows indeed. 4But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to demonstrate their faith toward their own family and repay their parents, for this is acceptable in the sight of God. 5Now she who is a widow indeed and desolate, has her hope set on God, and continues in petitions and prayers night and day. 6But she who gives herself to pleasure is dead while she lives. 7Also command these things, that they may be without reproach. 8But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
9Let no one be enrolled as a widow under sixty years old, having been the wife of one man, 10being approved by good actions, if she has brought up children, if she has been hospitable to strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, and if she has diligently followed every good work.
11But refuse younger widows, for when they have grown wanton against AnointedOne, they desire to marry, 12having condemnation, because they have rejected their first pledge. 13Besides, they also learn to be idle, going about from house to house. Not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not. 14So I desire that the younger widows marry, bear children, rule the household, and give no occasion to the adversary for insulting. 15For already some have turned away following Satan. 16If any man or woman who believes has widows, let them relieve them, and don't let the assembly be burdened, that it might relieve those who are widows indeed.
17Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and in teaching. 18For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain." And, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."
19Don't receive an accusation against an elder, except at the word of two or three witnesses. 20Those who fall-short, reprove in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear. 21I command you in the sight of God, and AnointedOne Jesus, and the chosen angels, that you observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by partiality. 22Don't lay hands hastily on anyone. Don't be a participant in other people's sins. Keep yourself pure.
23Be no longer a drinker of water only, but use a little wine for your stomach's sake and your frequent infirmities.
24Some men's sins are evident, preceding them to judgment, and some also follow later. 25In the same way also there are good actions that are obvious, and those that are otherwise can't be hidden.
