13"'This is the law of the Nazirite: when the days of their separation are fulfilled, they are to be brought to the door of the Tent of Meeting, 14and offer their offering to Yahweh: one male lamb a year old without defect for a burnt offering, one ewe lamb a year old without defect for a sin offering, one ram without defect for peace offerings, 15a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil with their meal offering and their drink offerings. 16The priest is to present them in Yahweh's presence, and offer the sin offering and burnt offering. 17He is to offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, with the basket of unleavened bread. The priest is to offer its meal offering and its drink offering [as well]. 18The Nazirite must shave the head of his separation at the door of the Tent of Meeting, take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it on the fire which is under the sacrifice of peace offerings. 19The priest is to take the boiled shoulder of the ram, one unleavened cake from the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them on the hands of the Nazirite after he has shaved the head of his separation; 20and the priest is to wave them for a wave offering before Yahweh. They are holy for the priest, together with the breast that is waved and the thigh that is offered. After that the Nazirite may drink wine.
21"'This is the law of the Nazirite who vows and of his offering to Yahweh for his separation, in addition to what he is able to afford. According to his vow which he vows, so he must do according to the law of his separation.'"
22Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 23"Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is how to bless the children of Israel.' Tell them, 24'Yahweh bless you, and keep you. 25Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. 26Yahweh lift up his face toward you, and give you peace.'
27"So they shall put my name on the children of Israel; and I will bless them."

9At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; 10if they do what is evil in my sight, that they don't obey my voice, then I will repent of the good with which I said I would benefit them. 11Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, 'Yahweh says, "Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return you now everyone from his evil way, and amend your ways and your actions."' 12But they say, It is in vain; for we will walk after our own devices, and we will do everyone after the stubbornness of his evil heart.
13Therefore Yahweh says, "Ask now among the nations, who has heard such things; the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing. 14Shall the snow of Lebanon fail from the rock of the field? [or] shall the cold waters that flow down from afar be dried up? 15For my people have forgotten me, they have burned incense to emptiness; and they have been made to stumble in their ways, in the ancient paths, to walk in byways, in a way not built up; 16to make their land an astonishment, and a perpetual hissing; everyone who passes by shall be astonished, and shake his head. 17I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.
18Then they said, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us strike him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words. 19Give heed to me, Yahweh, and listen to the voice of those who contend with me. 20Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have dug a pit for my soul. Remember how I stood before you to speak good for them, to turn away your wrath from them. 21Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and give them over to the power of the sword; and let their wives become childless, and widows; and let their men be slaughtered of death, [and] their young men struck of the sword in battle. 22Let a cry be heard from their houses, when you shall bring a troop suddenly on them; for they have dug a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet. 23Yet, Yahweh, you know all their counsel against me to kill me; don't forgive their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from your sight; but let them be overthrown before you; deal you with them in the time of your anger.
1Thus said Yahweh, Go, and buy a potter's earthen bottle, and [take] of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests; 2and go forth to the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the gate Harsith, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell you. 3Say, 'Hear the word of Yahweh, kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem: Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says, "Behold, I will bring evil on this place, which whoever hears, his ears shall tingle. 4Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned incense in it to other gods, that they didn't know, they and their fathers and the kings of Judah; and have filled this place with the blood of innocents, 5and have built the high places of Baal, to burn their sons in the fire for burnt offerings to Baal; which I didn't command, nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind: 6therefore, behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that this place shall no more be called Topheth, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of Slaughter.
7I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hand of those who seek their life: and their dead bodies I will give to be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth. 8I will make this city an astonishment, and a hissing; everyone who passes by shall be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues. 9I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters; and they shall eat everyone the flesh of his friend, in the siege and in the distress, with which their enemies, and those who seek their life, shall distress them.

[BOOK 3]
A Psalm by Asaph.
1Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. 2But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. 3For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. 4For there are no struggles in their death, but their strength is firm. 5They are free from burdens of men, neither are they plagued like other men. 6Therefore pride is like a chain around their neck. Violence covers them like a garment. 7Their eyes bulge with fat. Their minds pass the limits of conceit. 8They scoff and speak with malice. In arrogance, they threaten oppression. 9They have set their mouth in the heavens. Their tongue walks through the earth. 10Therefore their people return to them, and they drink up waters of abundance. 11They say, "How does God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?" 12Behold, these are the wicked. Being always at ease, they increase in riches. 13Surely in vain I have cleansed my heart, and washed my hands in innocence, 14For all day long have I been plagued, and punished every morning. 15If I had said, "I will speak thus;" behold, I would have betrayed the generation of your children. 16When I tried to understand this, it was too painful for me; 17Until I entered God's sanctuary, and considered their latter end. 18Surely you set them in slippery places. You throw them down to destruction. 19How they are suddenly destroyed! They are completely swept away with terrors. 20As a dream when one wakes up, so, LordOfMine, when you awake, you will despise their fantasies. 21For my soul was grieved. I was embittered in my heart. 22I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you. 23Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand. 24You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. 25Who do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth who I desire besides you. 26My flesh and my heart fails, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. 27For, behold, those who are far from you shall perish. You have destroyed all those who are unfaithful to you. 28But it is good for me to come close to God. I have made LordOfMine Yahweh my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

14I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others. 15But I write the more boldly to you in part as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God, 16that I should be a servant of AnointedOne Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. 17So I have my boasting in AnointedOne Jesus in things pertaining to God. 18For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which AnointedOne worked through me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed, 19in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God's Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of AnointedOne; 20yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where AnointedOne was already named, that I might not build on another's foundation. 21But, as it is written,
"They will see, to whom no news of him came.
They who haven't heard will understand."
22So I was also hindered many times from coming to you, 23but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you, 24whenever I travel to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while. 25But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints. 26For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem. 27Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in fleshly things. 28So when I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by way of you to Spain. 29I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the praise of the Good News of AnointedOne.
30Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus AnointedOne and by the selfless-love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me, 31that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, 32that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest. 33Now the God of peace be with you all. Absolutely.
