Deuteronomy Chapter 31

¹Moses continued and spoke these words to all Israel: ²He said to them, "I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can't come and go any more. Yahweh has told me, 'You won't go over this Jordan.' ³Yahweh your God will cross over before you. He will destroy these nations from before you, and you'll dispossess them. Joshua will cross over and lead you, [just] as Yahweh has said. ⁴Yahweh will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, when he destroyed them. ⁵Yahweh will deliver them to you, and you'll do to them according to all the commandment which I have commanded you. ⁶Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them, for Yahweh your God is the one who is going with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you."

⁷Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, "Be strong and courageous, for you are to go with this people into the land which Yahweh has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you'll make them inherit it. ⁸It is Yahweh himself that is going before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Don't be afraid. Don't be dismayed."

⁹Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi who carried the ark of Yahweh's covenant, and to all the elders of Israel. ¹⁰Moses commanded them, saying, "At the end of [every] seven years, in the set time of the year of release, in the feast of temporary-shelters, ¹¹when all Israel has come to appear before Yahweh your God in the place which he chooses, you are to read this law before all Israel in their hearing. ¹²Assemble the people, the men and the women and the little ones, and the foreigners within your gates, that they may hear, and learn to fear Yahweh your God, and observe to do all the words of this law, ¹³and that their children, who have not known it, may hear, and learn to fear Yahweh your God, as long as you live in the land which you are crossing the Jordan to possess."

Zechariah Chapter 5

¹Then again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, a flying scroll. ²He said to me, "What do you see?" I answered, "I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits."

³Then he said to me, "This is the curse that goes out over the surface of the whole land; for everyone who steals shall be cut off according to it on the one side; and everyone who swears falsely shall be cut off according to it on the other side. ⁴I will cause it to go out," says Yahweh of Armies, "and it will enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name; and it will remain in the midst of his house, and will destroy it with its timber and its stones."

⁵Then the angel who talked with me came forward, and said to me, "Lift up now your eyes, and see what is this that is appearing."

⁶I said, "What is it?" He said, "This is the ephah basket that is appearing." He said moreover, "This is their appearance in all the land ⁷(and behold, a talent of lead was lifted up); and this is a woman sitting in the midst of the ephah basket." ⁸He said, "This is Wickedness;" and he threw her down into the midst of the ephah basket; and he threw the weight of lead on its mouth.

⁹Then lifted I up my eyes, and saw, and behold, there were two women, and the wind was in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between earth and the sky. ¹⁰Then I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are these carrying the ephah basket?"

¹¹He said to me, "To build her a house in the land of Shinar. When it is prepared, she will be set there in her own place."

Zechariah Chapter 6

¹Again I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of bronze. ²In the first chariot were red horses; in the second chariot black horses; ³in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot dappled horses, all of them powerful. ⁴Then I asked the angel who talked with me, "What are these, my lord?"

⁵The angel answered me, "These are the four winds of the sky, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth. ⁶The one with the black horses goes out toward the north country; and the white went out after them; and the dappled went forth toward the south country." ⁷The strong went out, and sought to go that they might walk back and forth through the earth. He said, "Go around and through the earth!" So they walked back and forth through the earth.

⁸Then he called to me, and spoke to me, saying, "Behold, those who go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country."

⁹The word of Yahweh came to me, saying, ¹⁰"Take of them of the captivity, even of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah; and come the same day, and go into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have come from Babylon. ¹¹Yes, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest; ¹²and speak to him, saying, 'Thus says Yahweh of Armies, "Behold, the man whose name is the Branch. He shall grow up out of his place; and he shall build the temple of Yahweh; ¹³even he shall build the temple of Yahweh; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule on his throne; and he shall be a priest on his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both. ¹⁴The crowns shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Jedaiah, and to Hen the son of Zephaniah, as a memorial in the temple of Yahweh.

¹⁵Those who are far off shall come and build in the temple of Yahweh; and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you. This will happen, if you will diligently obey the voice of Yahweh your God."'"

Daniel Chapter 8

⁵As I was considering, behold, a male goat came from the west over the surface of the whole earth, and didn't touch the ground: and the goat had a notable horn between his eyes. ⁶He came to the ram that had the two horns, which I saw standing before the river, and ran on him in the fury of his power. ⁷I saw him come close to the ram, and he was moved with anger against him, and struck the ram, and broke his two horns; and there was no power in the ram to stand before him; but he threw him down to the ground, and trampled on him; and there was none who could deliver the ram out of his hand. ⁸The male goat magnified himself exceedingly: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and instead of it there came up four notable [horns] toward the four winds of the sky.

⁹Out of one of them came forth a little horn, which grew exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the glorious [land]. ¹⁰It grew great, even to the army of the sky; and some of the army and of the stars it threw down to the ground, and trampled on them. ¹¹Yes, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the army; and it took away from him the continual [burnt offering], and the place of his sanctuary was thrown down. ¹²The army was given over [to it] together with the continual [burnt offering] through disobedience. It threw truth down to the ground, and it did [whatever it pleased] and prospered.

¹³Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who spoke, How long shall be the vision [concerning] the continual [burnt offering], and the disobedience that makes desolate, to give both the sanctuary and the army to be trodden under foot?

¹⁴He said to me, To two thousand and three hundred evenings [and] mornings; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

¹⁵When I, even I, Daniel had seen the vision, I sought to understand it; and behold, there stood before me as the appearance of a man. ¹⁶I heard a man's voice between [the banks of] the Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel, make this man to understand the vision.

¹⁷So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face: but he said to me, Understand, son of man; for the vision belongs to the time of the end.

¹⁸Now as he was speaking with me, I fell into a deep sleep with my face toward the ground; but he touched me, and set me upright.

¹⁹He said, Behold, I will make you know what shall be in the latter time of the indignation; for it belongs to the appointed time of the end. ²⁰The ram which you saw, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Media and Persia. ²¹The rough male goat is the king of Greece: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king. ²²As for what was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.

Revelation Chapter 16

⁷I heard the altar saying, "Yes, ForeverOne God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments."

⁸The fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire. ⁹People were scorched with great heat, and people blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues. They didn't repent and give him glory.

¹⁰The fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened. They gnawed their tongues because of the pain, ¹¹and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores. They still didn't repent of their actions.

¹²The sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates. Its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings that come from the sunrise. ¹³I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, something like frogs; ¹⁴for they are spirits of demons, performing signs; which go out to the kings of the whole inhabited earth, to gather them together for the war of that great day of God, the Almighty.

¹⁵"Behold, I come like a thief. Happier is he who watches, and keeps his clothes, so that he doesn't walk naked, and they see his shame." ¹⁶He gathered them together into the place which is called in Hebrew, "Megiddo".

¹⁷The seventh poured out his bowl into the air. A loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "It is done!" ¹⁸There were lightnings, sounds, and thunders; and there was a great earthquake, such as has not happened since there were men on the earth, so great and mighty an earthquake. ¹⁹The great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. ²⁰Every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. ²¹Great hailstones, about the weight of a talent, came down out of the sky on people. People blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for this plague is exceedingly severe.
