16 verses
16The priest is to bring her near, [and have] her stand in Yahweh's presence. 17The priest is to take holy water in an earthen vessel; and the priest is to take some of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle and put it into the water. 18The priest is to set the woman before Yahweh, and let the hair of the woman's head go loose, and put the meal offering of memorial in her hands, which is the meal offering of jealousy. The priest is to have in his hand the water of bitterness that brings a curse. 19The priest is to cause her to take an oath and tell the woman, "If no man has lain with you, and if you haven't gone aside to uncleanness, being under your husband's authority, be free from this water of bitterness that brings a curse. 20But if you have gone astray, being under your husband's authority, and if you are defiled, and some man has lain with you besides your husband-" 21then the priest is to cause the woman to swear with the oath of cursing, and the priest is to tell the woman, "[May] Yahweh make you a curse and an oath among your people, when Yahweh allows your thigh to fall away, and your body to swell; 22and this water that brings a curse will go into your bowels, and make your body swell, and your thigh fall away." The woman shall say, "Absolutely, Absolutely." 23"'The priest is to write these curses in a book, and wipe them into the water of bitterness. 24He is to make the woman drink the water of bitterness that causes the curse; and the water that causes the curse will enter her and become bitter. 25The priest is to take the meal offering of jealousy from the woman's hand, and wave the meal offering in Yahweh's presence, and bring it to the altar. 26The priest is to take a handful of the meal offering, as its memorial-portion, and burn it on the altar, and after [that make the] woman drink the water. 27When he has made her drink the water then, if she is defiled and has committed a trespass against her husband, the water that causes the curse will enter her and become bitter. Her body will swell and her thigh will fall away. The woman will be a curse among her people. 28If the woman isn't defiled, but is clean; then she'll be free, and will conceive offspring.
29"'This is the law of jealousy, when a wife, being under her husband, goes astray, and is defiled, 30or when the spirit of jealousy comes on a man, and he is jealous of his wife. The woman must stand in Yahweh's presence, and the priest is to enact with her all of this law. 31The man will be free from iniquity, and the woman will bear her [own] iniquity.'"

1The word of Yahweh came also to me, saying, 2You shall not have a wife, nor will you have sons or daughters, in this place. 3For Yahweh says concerning the sons and concerning the daughters who are born in this place, and concerning their mothers who bore them, and concerning their fathers who fathered them in this land: 4They shall die grievous deaths: they shall not be lamented, nor will they be buried; they shall be as dung on the surface of the ground; and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their dead bodies shall be food for the birds of the sky, and for the animals of the earth.
5For Yahweh says, "Don't enter into the house of mourning, neither go to lament, neither bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, says Yahweh, even loving kindness and tender mercies. 6Both great and small shall die in this land; they shall not be buried, nor will men lament for them, or cut themselves, or make themselves bald for them. 7Men won't break [bread] for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead. Men won't give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
8You shall not go into the house of feasting to sit with them, to eat and to drink. 9For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says, "Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. 10When you shall show this people all these words, and they shall tell you, Why has Yahweh pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against Yahweh our God? 11Then you shall tell them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, says Yahweh, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshiped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law; 12and you have done evil more than your fathers; for, behold, you walk every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, so that you don't listen to me: 13therefore I will throw you forth out of this land into the land that you have not known, neither you nor your fathers; and there you shall serve other gods day and night; for I will show you no favor.
14Therefore, behold, the days come, says Yahweh, that it shall no more be said, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; 15but, As Yahweh lives, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the countries where he had driven them. I will bring them again into their land that I gave to their fathers.
16Behold, I will send for many fishermen, says Yahweh, and they shall fish them up; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks. 17For my eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from my face, neither is their iniquity concealed from my eyes. 18First I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations. 19Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, to you shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, [even] vanity and things in which there is no profit. 20Shall a man make to himself gods, which yet are no gods? 21Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know, this once I will cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is Yahweh.
1The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, [and] with the point of a diamond: it is engraved on the tablet of their heart, and on the horns of your altars; 2while their children remember their altars and their Asherah poles by the green trees on the high hills. 3My mountain in the field, I will give your substance and all your treasures for a plunder, [and] your high places, because of sin, throughout all your borders. 4You, even of yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you don't know: for you have kindled a fire in my anger which shall burn forever. 24 verses
1In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed. 2Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me. 3Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. 4Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 5For you are my hope, LordOfMine Yahweh; my confidence from my youth. 6I have relied on you from the womb. You are he who took me out of my mother's womb. I will always praise you. 7I am a marvel to many, but you are my strong refuge. 8My mouth shall be filled with your praise, with your honor all the day. 9Don't reject me in my old age. Don't forsake me when my strength fails. 10For my enemies talk about me. Those who watch for my soul conspire together, 11saying, "God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him." 12God, don't be far from me. My God, hurry to help me. 13Let my accusers be disappointed and consumed. Let them be covered with disgrace and scorn who want to harm me. 14But I will always hope, and will add to all of your praise. 15My mouth will tell about your righteousness, and of your salvation all day, though I don't know its full measure. 16I will come with the mighty acts of LordOfMine Yahweh. I will make mention of your righteousness, even of yours alone. 17God, you have taught me from my youth. Until now, I have declared your wondrous works. 18Yes, even when I am old and gray-haired, God, don't forsake me, until I have declared your strength to the next generation, your might to everyone who is to come. 19Your righteousness also, God, reaches to the heavens; you have done great things. God, who is like you? 20You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth. 21Increase my honor, and comfort me again. 22I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. 23My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you! 24My tongue will also talk about your righteousness all day long, for they are disappointed, and they are confounded, who want to harm me.

8Owe no one anything, except to selflessly-love one another; for he who selflessly-loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law. 9For [the commandments], "Don't commit adultery," "Don't murder," "Don't steal," [*"Don't give false testimony,"] "Don't covet," and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, "Selflessly-love your neighbor as yourself." 10Selfless-love doesn't harm a neighbor. So selfless-love is the fulfillment of the law.
11Do this, knowing the time, that it is already time for you to awaken out of sleep, for salvation is now nearer to us than when we first believed. 12The night is far gone, and the day is near. So let's throw off the actions of darkness, and let's put on the armor of light. 13Let's walk properly, as in the day; not in reveling and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and lustful acts, and not in strife and jealousy. 14But put on the Lord Jesus AnointedOne, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
1Now accept one who is weak in faith, but not for disputes over opinions. 2One has faith to eat all things, but the weak one eats only vegetables. 3Don't let him who eats despise him who doesn't eat. Don't let him who doesn't eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him. 4Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
5One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind. 6He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks. He who doesn't eat, to the Lord he doesn't eat, and gives God thanks. 7For none of us lives to himself, and none dies to himself. 8For if we live, we live to the Lord. Or if we die, we die to the Lord. So if we live or die, we are the Lord's. 9For to this end AnointedOne died, rose, and lived again, that he might dominate both the dead and the living.
10But you, why do you judge your brother? Or you again, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of AnointedOne. 11For it is written,
"'As I live,' says ForeverOne, 'to me every knee will bow.
Every tongue will confess to God.'"
12So then each one of us will give account of himself to God.
