Numbers Chapter 23

²¹He has not seen iniquity in Jacob. Neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. Yahweh his God is with him. The shout of a king is among them. ²²God brings them out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox. ²³Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God done! ²⁴Behold, a people rises up like a lioness. As a lion he lifts himself up. He shall not lie down until he eats of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slaughtered."

²⁵Balak said to Balaam, "Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all."

²⁶But Balaam answered Balak, "Didn't I tell you, saying, 'All that Yahweh speaks, that I must do?'"

²⁷Balak said to Balaam, "Come now, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there."

²⁸Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, that looks down on the desert. ²⁹Balaam said to Balak, "Build seven altars for me here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me here ."

³⁰Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.

Numbers Chapter 24

¹When Balaam saw that it pleased Yahweh to bless Israel, he didn't go, as at the other times, to use divination, but he set his face toward the wilderness. ²Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came on him. ³He took up his parable, and said,

"Balaam the son of Beor says,
the man whose eyes have been opened says;
⁴he says, who hears the words of God,
who sees the vision of the Almighty,
falling down, and having his eyes open:
⁵How fine are your tents, Jacob,
and your dwellings, Israel!
⁶As valleys they are spread out,
as gardens by the riverside,
as aloes which Yahweh has planted,
as cedar trees beside the waters.

Ezekiel Chapter 1

¹Now in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

²In the fifth [day] of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity, ³the word of Yahweh came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of Yahweh was there on him.

⁴I looked, and behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, a great cloud, with flashing lightning, and a brightness around it, and out of its midst as it were glowing metal, out of the midst of the fire. ⁵Out of its midst came the likeness of four living creatures. This was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man. ⁶Everyone had four faces, and each one of them had four wings. ⁷Their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like burnished bronze. ⁸They had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and the four of them had their faces and their wings [thus]: ⁹their wings were joined to one another; they didn't turn when they went; each one went straight forward.

¹⁰As for the likeness of their faces, they had the face of a man; and the four of them had the face of a lion on the right side; and the four of them had the face of an ox on the left side; the four of them also had the face of an eagle. ¹¹Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above. Two wings of each one touched another, and two covered their bodies. ¹²Each one went straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; they didn't turn when they went. ¹³As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, like the appearance of torches: [the fire] went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. ¹⁴The living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

¹⁵Now as I saw the living creatures, behold, one wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, for each of the four faces of it. ¹⁶The appearance of the wheels and their work was like a beryl: and the four of them had one likeness; and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel within a wheel. ¹⁷When they went, they went in their four directions: they didn't turn when they went. ¹⁸As for their rims, they were high and dreadful; and the four of them had their rims full of eyes all around.

¹⁹When the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. ²⁰Wherever the spirit was to go, they went; there was the spirit to go: and the wheels were lifted up beside them; for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. ²¹When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up beside them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

²²Over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like the awesome crystal to look on, stretched forth over their heads above. ²³Under the expanse were their wings straight, the one toward the other: each one had two which covered on this side, and every one had two which covered on that side, their bodies. ²⁴When they went, I heard the noise of their wings like the noise of great waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a noise of tumult like the noise of an army: when they stood, they let down their wings.

²⁵There was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads: when they stood, they let down their wings. ²⁶Above the expanse that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone; and on the likeness of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man on it above. ²⁷I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his waist and upward; and from the appearance of his waist and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him. ²⁸As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of Yahweh's glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

Psalm 120

A Song of Ascents.

¹In my distress, I cried to Yahweh. He answered me. ²Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue. ³What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, you deceitful tongue? ⁴Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper. ⁵Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, that I dwell among the tents of Kedar! ⁶My soul has had her dwelling too long with him who hates peace. ⁷I am for peace, but when I speak, they are for war.

Psalm 121

A Song of Ascents.

¹I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? ²My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. ³He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not doze. ⁴Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither doze nor sleep. ⁵Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. ⁶The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. ⁷Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. ⁸Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forth, and forevermore.

Psalm 122

¹I was glad when they said to me, "Let's go to Yahweh's house!" ²Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem; ³Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together; ⁴where the tribes go up, even Yah's tribes, according to an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of Yahweh. ⁵For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of David's house. ⁶Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Those who love you will prosper. ⁷Peace be within your walls, and prosperity within your palaces. ⁸For my brothers' and companions' sakes, I will now say, "Peace be within you." ⁹For the sake of the house of Yahweh our God, I will seek your good.

Psalm 123

A Song of Ascents.

¹To you I do lift up my eyes, you who sit in the heavens. ²Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to Yahweh, our God, until he has mercy on us. ³Have mercy on us, Yahweh, have mercy on us, for we have endured much contempt. ⁴Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scoffing of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.

Galatians Chapter 6

¹Brothers, even if a person is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, watching yourself so that you aren't tempted as well. ²Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of AnointedOne. ³For if someone thinks themselves to be something when they are nothing, they deceive themselves. ⁴But let each one examine their own work, and then they will have reason to boast in themselves, and not in someone else. ⁵For everyone will bear their own burden.

⁶But let one who is taught in the word share all good things with one who teaches.

⁷Don't be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a person sows, that they will also reap. ⁸For the one who sows to their own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit. ⁹Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don't give up. ¹⁰So then, as we have opportunity, let's do what is good toward everyone, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.

¹¹See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand. ¹²As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised, just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of AnointedOne. ¹³For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, so they can boast in your flesh. ¹⁴But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. ¹⁵For in AnointedOne Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything, but [being] a new creation. ¹⁶As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God's Israel.

¹⁷From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.

¹⁸The grace of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne be with your spirit, brothers. Absolutely.
