20 verses
1Observe to do all the commandments which I command you today, that you may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh swore to your fathers. 2Remember the whole journey which Yahweh your God led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not. 3He humbled you, allowed you to be hungry, fed you with manna, which you didn't know, neither did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live only by bread, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of Yahweh's mouth. 4For forty years your clothing didn't grow old on you, nor did your foot swell. 5Consider in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so Yahweh your God disciplines you. 6Keep Yahweh your God's commandments. Walk in his ways, and fear him. 7For Yahweh your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of springs, and underground water flowing into valleys and hills; 8a land of wheat, barley, vines, fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of olive trees and honey; 9a land where you'll eat bread without scarcity, you won't lack anything in it; a land where stones are iron, and where you can dig copper out of the hills. 10You'll eat and be full, and you'll bless Yahweh your God for the good land which he has given you.
11Be careful not to forget Yahweh your God, by not keeping his commandments, his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today; 12otherwise, when you have eaten and are full, and have built fine houses and lived in them; 13and when your herds and your flocks multiply, and your silver and your gold is multiplied, and all that you have is multiplied; 14then your heart might be lifted up, and you forget Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; 15who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, [with] seraphim serpents and scorpions, and thirsty ground where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the rock of flint; 16who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers didn't know, that he might humble you, and that he might prove you, to do you good at your latter end; 17and [otherwise you might] say in your heart, "My power and the might of my hand has obtained this wealth for me." 18But you are to remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today.
19If you forget Yahweh your God, and walk after other gods, and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today you will surely perish. 20In the way that Yahweh makes the nations perish before you, you would perish, because you wouldn't listen to Yahweh your God's voice.

1Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east. 2Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shined with his glory. 3It was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face. 4Yahweh's glory came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east. 5The Spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and behold, Yahweh's glory filled the house.
6I heard one speaking to me out of the house; and a man stood by me. 7He said to me, Son of man, [this is] the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will live among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they, nor their kings, by their prostitution, and by the dead bodies of their kings [in] their high places; 8in their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their doorpost beside my doorpost, and there was [but] the wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed: therefore I have consumed them in my anger. 9Now let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me; and I will live among them forever.
10You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern. 11If they be ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, and its fashion, and its exits, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its ordinances, and all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight; that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.
12This is the law of the house: on the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
13These are the measures of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar. 14From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit. 15The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns. 16The altar hearth shall be twelve [cubits] long by twelve wide, four square sides. 17The ledge shall be fourteen [cubits] long by fourteen wide in the four sides of it; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.
18He said to me, "Son of man, LordOfMine Yahweh says: 'These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it. 19You shall give to the priests the Levites who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me, says LordOfMine Yahweh, a young bull for a sin offering. 20You shall take of its blood, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around: thus you shall cleanse it and make atonement for it. 21You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.

8By faith, Abraham, when he was called, obeyed to go out to the place which he was to receive for an inheritance. He went out, not knowing where he went. 9By faith, he lived as a foreigner in the land of promise, as in a land not his own, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise. 10For he looked for the city which has the foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
11By faith, even Sarah herself received power to conceive, and she bore a child when she was past age, since she counted him faithful who had promised. 12Therefore as many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as innumerable as the sand which is by the sea shore, were fathered by one man, and him as good as dead.
13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and embraced them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14For those who say such things make it clear that they are seeking a country of their own. 15If indeed they had been thinking of that country from which they went out, they would have had enough time to return. 16But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. So God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
17By faith, Abraham, being tested, offered up Isaac. Yes, he who had gladly received the promises was offering up his one and only [son], 18to whom it was said, "Your offspring will be counted as from Isaac," 19concluding that God is able to raise up even from the dead. Figuratively speaking, he also did receive him back from the dead.
20By faith, Isaac praised [God for] Jacob and Esau, even concerning things to come.
21By faith, Jacob, when he was dying, praised [God for] each of the sons of Joseph, and worshiped, leaning on the top of his staff.
22By faith, Joseph, when his end was near, made mention of the departure of the sons of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.
23By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents, because they saw that he was a beautiful child and they were not afraid of the king's command.
24By faith, Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25choosing rather to share ill treatment with God's people than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a time, 26considering the reproach of AnointedOne greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he looked to the reward. 27By faith, he left Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
