1Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying, 2"Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When any man has a discharge from his body, because of his discharge he is unclean. 3This shall be his uncleanness in his discharge: whether his body runs with his discharge, or his body has stopped from his discharge, it is his uncleanness.
4"'Every bed where he who has the discharge lies on shall be unclean, and everything he sits on shall be unclean. 5Whoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. 6He who sits on anything where the man who has the discharge sat shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
7"'He who touches the body of him who has the discharge shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
8"'If he who has the discharge spits on someone who is clean, then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
9"'Whatever saddle he who has the discharge rides on shall be unclean. 10Whoever touches anything that was under him shall be unclean until the evening. He who carries those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
11"'Whoever the one who has the discharge touches without having rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening.
12"'The earthen vessel, which he who has the discharge touches, shall be broken; and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
13"'When he who has a discharge is cleansed of his discharge, then he shall count to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes; and he shall bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
14"'On the eighth day he shall take two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and enter Yahweh's presence at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and give them to the priest. 15The priest is to offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering. The priest is to make atonement for him in Yahweh's presence for his discharge.

For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David.
1Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your anger,
neither discipline me in your wrath.
2Have mercy on me, Yahweh, for I am faint.
Yahweh, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3My soul is also in great anguish.
But you, Yahweh- how long?
4Return, Yahweh. Deliver my soul,
and save me because of your loving kindness.
5For in death there is no memory of you.
In Sheol, who shall give you thanks?
6I am weary with my groaning.
Every night I flood my bed.
I drench my couch with my tears.
7My eye wastes away because of grief.
It grows old because of all my adversaries.
8Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity,
for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping.
9Yahweh has heard my supplication.
Yahweh accepts my prayer.
10May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed.
They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.
A meditation by David, which he sang to Yahweh, concerning the words of Cush, the Benjamite.
1Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you.
Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,
2lest they tear apart my soul like a lion,
ripping it in pieces, while there is no one to deliver.
3Yahweh, my God, if I have done this,
if there is iniquity in my hands,
4if I have dealt evil to him who was at peace with me
Or rescued without reason an adversary,
5let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it;
yes, let him tread my life down to the earth,
and lay my glory in the dust.
selah.
6Arise, Yahweh, in your anger.
Lift up yourself against the rage of my adversaries.
Awake for me. You have commanded judgment.
7Let the congregation of the peoples surround you.
Rule over them on high.
8Yahweh administers judgment to the peoples.
Judge me, Yahweh, according to my righteousness,
and to my integrity that is in me.
9Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end,
but establish the righteous;
their minds and hearts are searched by the righteous God.
10My shield is with God,
who saves the upright in heart.
11God is a righteous judge,
yes, a God who has indignation every day.
12If a man doesn't repent, he will sharpen his sword;
he has bent and strung his bow.
13He has also prepared for himself the instruments of death.
He makes ready his flaming-arrows.
14Behold, he travails with iniquity.
Yes, he has conceived mischief,
and produced falsehood.
15He has dug a hole,
and has fallen into the pit which he made.
16The trouble he causes shall return to his own head.
His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
17I will give thanks to Yahweh according to his righteousness,
and will sing praise to the name of Yahweh Most High.

1In Iconium they entered together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke that a great multitude both of Jews and of Gentiles believed. 2But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers. 3So they stayed there a long time, speaking boldly in the Lord, who testified to the word of his grace, granting signs and wonders to be done by their hands. 4But the multitude of the city was divided. Part sided with the Jews, and part with the ambassadors. 5When some of both the Gentiles and the Jews, with their rulers, made a violent attempt to mistreat and stone them, 6they became aware of it and fled to the cities of Lycaonia, Lystra, Derbe, and the surrounding region. 7There they preached the Good News.
8At Lystra a certain man sat, impotent in his feet, a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked. 9He was listening to Paul speaking, who, fastening eyes on him, and seeing that he had faith to be made whole, 10said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on your feet!" He leaped up and walked. 11When the multitude saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voice, saying in the language of Lycaonia, "The gods have come down to us in the likeness of men!" 12They called Barnabas "Jupiter", and Paul "Mercury", because he was the chief speaker. 13The priest of Jupiter, whose temple was in front of their city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and would have made a sacrifice along with the multitudes.
14But when the ambassadors, Barnabas and Paul, heard of it, they tore their clothes, and sprang into the multitude, crying out, 15"Men, why are you doing these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and bring you good news, that you should turn from these vain things to the living God, who made the sky, the earth, the sea, and all that is in them; 16who in the generations gone by allowed all the nations to walk in their own ways. 17Yet he didn't leave himself without witness, in that he did good and gave you rains from the sky and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness."
18Even saying these things, they hardly stopped the multitudes from making a sacrifice to them. 19But some Jews from Antioch and Iconium came there, and having persuaded the multitudes, they stoned Paul, and dragged him out of the city, supposing that he was dead.
20But as the disciples stood around him, he rose up, and entered into the city. On the next day he went out with Barnabas to Derbe.
21When they had preached the Good News to that city, and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many afflictions we must enter into God's Kingdom. 23When they had appointed elders for them in every assembly, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, in whom they had believed.
24They passed through Pisidia, and came to Pamphylia. 25When they had spoken the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. 26From there they sailed to Antioch, from where they had been committed to the grace of God for the work which they had fulfilled. 27When they had arrived, and had gathered the assembly together, they reported all the things that God had done with them, and that he had opened a door of faith to the nations. 28They stayed there with the disciples for a long time.
